Dad came down and got to visit some old friends and then hung out at the Halloween party with us.

We did trick-or-treating from the rooms in the house after the party for the 20 kids. This was my scary costume. haha! Although my kids informed me it wasn't scary enough...i beg to differ? LOL

Random weekend fun :)

Stevie and I are Top Ramen buds. It all started 3 or so years ago when he and I had some midnight bowls of soup while watching Tali play a game and while he's slurping his noodles, a piece of it flew back and hit me and I screamed thinking it was a bug....so started the tradition of top ramen when we get together...no i don't scream anymore. hahaha!

Dad is getting a few lessons on the Wii from Stevie.

The kids had fun playing Smash brothers and we swear they all need glasses from how close they were standing to the tv. haha!

I lost 12 games straight in tennis...but it was a blast. I think I finally won one game then Steve went on to beat me another 3 times. LOL

Madelynne had fun walking around with this and playing High School Musical songs...or maybe that was the microphone thinger. Anyway, FABULOUS from the second movie was stuck in my head all weekend. "I want more!" lol

belated Valentine's fun

Valentine's was a lot of fun. We spent the weekend in SLC with the Dent's. Tali is so darn creative that we had lots of tasty treats. It started with heart pancakes for breakfast.

Hot chocolate with pink heart marshmallows. It was a major hit. We thought the boys might gripe with all the pink going on, but they loved it. Then there was chocolate dipped strawberries. :) Mmmmm!

Tali got a great idea off a cooking show to blow up water balloons then dip them in chocolate and let them set up. As you can see some of the balloons popped before they should have.

Then the balloons are popped and you have chocolate cups.

Perfect for a scoop of ice cream! It was great fun!

New Year's and Alice's birthday

I'm sitting here trying to upload pictures and Paul whispers down the stairs to me that Madelynne is playing with my make-up in the bathroom upstairs. So I go up there and there's Madelynne with her hair slicked back with who knows what....from the smell it was lavender lotion. My contacts and solution were on the counter...time to change them for sure. haha! And there was hair all over the bathroom floor with a guilty looking pair of scissors sitting in the middle of it all. Boy oh boy do I wish I had my camera...sigh. So now I can't remember what I was going to write about my trip to Salt Lake for New Year's and my birthday. hahahaha! Here's a couple pictures though. :) Oh, New Year's Eve was over at Rick and Nicole Mery's house. It was a lot of fun. We ended up staying awake till after 4am....ugh. Boy am I thankful for that 4 hour nap today. woohoo!
