Halloween relay game.

Debbi has done this relay every year for as long as I can remember and every year it is different. She's one creative lady to come up with all these ideas. Way too funny! So it was girls against boys this year. Each station had a note you flipped over once the person next to you finished their task and finished their little cup of sprite.
First task was to put on a mask and use the whole container (which was dumped halfway out) of bubbles by blowing them through the mouth hole on the mask. Lots of laughs.
The boys team giving it a go with the bubbles.
Next task was to blindfold yourself and stick (with your teammates help) a wart on the nose, a broom on the legs and a something or other on her hat. So two witches were hung up and they had to listen to their team. Crazy!
Next up were a cute set of teddy bears. You had to put a pair of socks on your hands and slice open the bear. You had to find 5 fake bugs in the bear somewhere and the stuffing had some ketchup in it. (she had cut open the back previous to the game and put the stuff in them then hand sewed them back up.)
the ketchup and cotton didn't smell too pretty...lol
more bear guts as they look for those bugs. lol
Next there was a ball of clay and the ingredients in cups for a volcano. Except you had to do the entire thing with your elbow.
more elbows at work... =)
then i think they had to hurry and eat a candy then drink their sprite.
a cute my little book with a toilet paper roll and a fake set of ugly teeth were up next. They had to put the teeth in, look through the roll and read the entire book aloud without skipping parts. lol
We were dying...none of us could even understand Kim. LOL
Next up was complete a maze with a piece of chalk between your toes. lol
Stevie giving it a go for the boys. =)
Last was to carve a pumpkin, empty it out, stick a candle in light it then yell HAPPY HALLOWEEN! oh and drink your sprite. lol
my hands were soaked...I couldn't get the matches to light so the boys won this year....haha!
oh crap i forgot i had to blow up a balloon and tie it then sit on it and pop it then jump and yell HAPPY HALLOWEEN. lol

the food table at the Halloween party. Kids had pizza some braved the yummy soups. It was fun. I'll have to post pics later of the relay...it was hilarious.

Dad came down and got to visit some old friends and then hung out at the Halloween party with us.
We did trick-or-treating from the rooms in the house after the party for the 20 kids. This was my scary costume. haha! Although my kids informed me it wasn't scary enough...i beg to differ? LOL

end of October fun =]

We have had a crazy fun past week. It started with my brother, Hyrum, coming into town for work with a coworker and staying here for 3 nights. That was awesome! Thanks again for dinner Hyrum!! We had great visits. Then on Thursday morning we left early for Tali & Steve's in SLC. It was the BEST weekend. We went trick-or-treating out in Nicole and Rick's neighborhood and hit the motherload. LOL. I swear we have like 25+ pounds of candy....ugh! I mean "rock on". haha! I'll have to use it in singing time in Primary to get rid of it all. haha! Anyway, Halloween was a blast. Benjamin was a skeleton mummy. Michael was a pirate. Paul was a knight. Madelynne was a kitty cat (marie from aristocats). Jacob was scooby-doo. =] They were pretty funny out going door to door. After a while they was a continuous whine of being tired, thirsty, are we going home yet?, don't run so fast. It was hilarious. I think the adults were more into it than the kids. LOL Then Saturday was Tali's annual Halloween party. It was awesome as usual. The soups were delicious. Debbi's relay game is always my favorite. =] Then the kids went trick-or-treating door to door in the house for a small bag of candy. fun fun. The slide show below has a few of the pictures from the weekend. I won't put them all since there were almost 300 or so. haha! Gotta love digital cameras.
